Good value for money on the new renovated rooms. AC restaurant is decent. Strategically located in heart of the city. Good for short stays and for family also. As far the old rooms,needs lots of improvement.

The hotel was simple, clean, no-frills and good value. Good veg restaurant, but no bar. Some foreigners might want a higher-end place but this satisfied all my requirements. The TV was good and the cable worked.

We arrived late at night and were given Room No 602 (Rs 832), a corner room on the top floor. If it had a new coat of paint, the metal locker replaced with something more attractive, the curtain arrangement tidied up, this could be a really nice room. Unwelcoming rude staff who tried to hoodwink us into paying more. We arrived very late, around midnight, so didn't really have the opportunity to find somewhere else. The rooms are spacious but are not having sufficient lights. This hotel is very old and have all failities. Foods are also good but the breakfast is not complimentary. Every day rooms are cleaned and location is very central to the city. Autos and buses are available for all parts of mangalore from this hotel.
