I visited Basil hotel at Malleswaram multiple times in 2012... I must have spent almost 3 months at the hotel this year. Basil is a well maintained property with newly renovated rooms on the 3rd floor. The rooms have all basic amenities such as LCD TV, Tata Sky, Refrigerator and working desk. Very nice hotel, well maintained and well located. The receptionists were a bit dazed at the time, so was a little difficult to get information from them - fatigue? Very close to Mantri mall, and has a direct connection with the airport bus.

The Basil is a very nice hotel, well located in Malleswaram. The staff is really helpfull and attentive to guest needs. The rooms are spacious, and well equipped. Very good beds and linen too. And fast service at the restaurant. I definitely recommend.
