Thanks to everyone at boboi which by the way is in Kartong not Kololi for a fab stay just before christmas. We stayed with our two children aged 7 & 5 in an en-suit hut and loved the wonderful location and great staff. You cant beat being smack on the an amazing white sand beach! I would get up and... We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas December 2011. The location is brilliant, a few steps and you can move from the accommodation to the beach. The beach is great with sun huts and a little beach bar. The beach is also really quiet and we saw very few other people using the bay at all. The staff too... More

This is our third time to Boboi - the first with a teenage daughter. In the past my husband and I have travelled to the lodge alone. We love Boboi - it sits straight on the beach. The sunsets are glorious. the walk to Kartong along the beach or the road is not too far, but strenuous enough to allow... More

Firstly this lodge is not in Kololi...it is near Kartong . The lodge is a collection of huts set in the grounds with a central bar/restaurant. I stayed in a hut with seperate bathroom, for a lower price you can opt to use the communal showers, and for a lower price still they have treehouses and camping facilities. It is... More

We stayed here in December/January 2010/2011. We had our first week there and stayed in the only room with glass windows. (I'm scared of spiders!) the rooms are basic, no or little hot water and no electricity. This is a back to nature place which allows you to live like the locals. Take a torch, insect repellant and all the... More

If you want a relaxing holiday or if you want to experience something a bit different Boboi is for you. The staff are very knowledgable about the area and are really happy to help. We enjoyed bird watching with Colin, fising with Rory (caught 7 red snapper!), walks to Kartong and to Gunjur, a bike ride to the river, and... More

I went for a day trip in Boboi Beach and absolutely loved it, there was no Bumpsters and the beach was deserted, so peaceful and tranquil. The food was lovely and it was all freshly made that day, the setting was ideal. My partner and I are going back to Gambia in December and plan on staying in Boboi beach... More

My girlfriend and I were picked up from the airport by Buba (who runs the place) late at night - we ate great food (try the fish 'bullets'- amazing), and awoke to a great view of the beach in a wonderful location. The staff are super-friendly (especially Madi, a legend!), and the trips they offer are well worth-while - and... More

Stayed in a round house for 10 days and we loved it! Great staff, Madi gives you excellent service and Buba drives you safe and carefully if you need transport. Breakfast with fresh bread and fresh fruit. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay this is it! If you are looking for luxury comfort you should stay... More
