The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and everything as advertised. I have stayed at several hotels in Barranquilla and for the money Puerta Del Sol is by far the best bargain. Will stay again when I return.

Puerta Del Sol is a very clean room and the hotel staff is decent, however, when you think you room is prepaid through orbitz or expedia or whatever travel agency you choose, you will find out that they will charge you an insurance fee at the end. The staff were very friendly. The rates are good but it is not what you look for in the US. For a little bit more I stay at Hotel Del Prado it was a much nicer experience. But I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. I got what I paid for.
