Slightly to our surprise, this hotel was really good value. Big, clean, comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Excellent service. They can help you sort out taxis/tours etc. Datong is in the process of being completely rebuilt so this hotel was a bit of an oasis. Got great rates on ctrip.

The Garden Hotel, Datong at US$70 a night was a great deal. We booked through Agoda, rack rates were way higher. Excellent English speaking staff, beautiful room and the food at both restaurants was outstanding. Banana bread and sushi for breakfast with Illy espresso, Wow. Highly recommended.

This is a pretty luxurious hotel for the price and it's in a great location. The rooms were big and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good - a buffet with a large, fresh selection and good service.

Great vale, great location and very good service. Highly recommend hotel. The taxi service they organise is very good and they ensure you are to ripped off. Def give a full day to Yungang caves and do not miss the hanging monastery

Very good hotel in Datong, China. Very good rooms, good size and very good washroom. Excellent buffet breakfast. Staff at front desk helpful and speak English. Hotel well located and can walk to some of the historic sites in Datong.
