I stayed in Holiday Inn Qingdao Parkview for two nights and was quite happy. It is a big hotel right in the center of the city. My room was on the top floor and a great view over the city. The hotel has a swimming pool and a small gym. Very big rooms :-)

This Holiday Inn had excellent staff that were genuinely helpful without being overbearing. They really make the extra effort to be friendly and make you feel at home. Hotel is very suitable for business purposes. Staff is very kind. Once in Qingdao I recommend it. The price is very reasonable. Breakfast is good and you can find continental or chinese food. Gym is small but enough for working out. Rooms might be smoking ones so it is important to make it clear if you want a non-smoking one
