Sure the paint in the rooms is peeling and the lights are too dim, but the canal side location in the heart of things makes this place a hit. Hostel staff could be friendlier but the mingtown cafe folks are great. Taxis around town are cheap and there are plenty of gardens to see nearby.

Love the authentic look of the place. It was close to the museum, shops and other sights and this absolutely lovely tea house just down the street. Beds comfortable and area is quiet. The cafe they have though was overpriced.
