Booked this hostel/hotel from puerto natales the night before and told them I would be in around midnight. Hotel Hain is about as basic as you get in terms of accommodations. That said, the beds were the most comfortable we slept in during our three weeks in Chile, the customer service was excellent and the interior decor delightfully whimsical. The location in a little out of the way but still relatively close to the center of things.

Very friendly and helpful. An excellent lower budget choice in Punta Arenas.
