I have stayed at this hotel before with my partner but in April this year we went back with 20 friends and family and again had an amazing time. The hotel is so quiet and restful with ducks by the pond, fish and turtles in the water, a great pool to swim in and wonderful staff. Nothing is too much... More

We stayed here as a couple for 2 nights during peak season (Chinese New Year '13), the city was really full so this was one of 3 hotels we stayed at in Siem Reap in 5 days. We paid USD95 per night, for a balcony room upstairs in one of the cottages equidistant between pool and entrance. I think that's... More

My Girlfriend and I stayed at this Hotel in Siem Reap mid April 2013. We found the river garden to be one of the more exotic and peaceful places we have stayed on our journey around south east Asia so far. We couldnt be thankful enough to the staff and workers of this place, our whole experience was just wonderful.... More

We stayed at the RiverGarden in late April 2013 as a couple. We booked the cheapest room ($35 per night) and in the main it was very pleasant. - The staff were really friendly and attentive; especially the pool staff who were great. - Food was nice when we ate there, though we didn't sample the restaurant food. - It... A set of bungalows within a nice garden architecture. Not to big of a swimming pool. booking of upmarket rooms ($80) are recommended, Garden suite is a bit locked in and not really open to the garden - the river was unfortunately in construction which did not change the quality of the place, but made the travel there a dusty... We visited this hotel as two couples and enjoyed it. The hotel was nice enough but could be amazing. I wouldn't put anyone off staying there as it is decent and we had a great time, but if nothing else I hope that the management take heed of a few things that could make this hotel a stunner. When we... More

We arrived at RiverGarden for our Cook In Tuk Tuk-Tuks class. The man on Reception (Manager?) then called through to the Kitchen to advise of our arrival, but then berated the staff in front of us which I thought was unnecessary, when I excused the staff, he used ‘tone’ with me. Unfortunately even though out class was booked, a Tuk... More

We stayed at the river garden just under 2 weeks and had such a wonderful time. The hotel is set in a tropical jungle, it's an oasis. And is the perfect distance from town, away from all the hustle and bustle. The staff were just lovely and from the moment we arrived their smiles warmed your heart. The breakfast was... More

The setting for RiverGarden was really nice - you start at the very "budget looking" reception desk, the somewhat nasty street front...but then take a meandering path by ponds, palms, durian trees, flowers...a nice setting for the hotel buildings, it does seem like an oasis. I also enjoyed the small, quaint size of the hotel. We had a balcony suite... More

We appreciate your review and would only like to add that the town electricity supply is a problem for all businesses in Siem Reap at certain times of the year and completely out of our control. Small dogs from the next door occassionally bark at night but that is Cambodia - they are everywhere. We hope you enjoyed your time... More
