Although it is pricier than most hotel this place is a must stay. The villas are so cute and adorable. The owner is the nicest man would help you with anything. He came in our room to check on our friend who was ill and helped us start a fire in our adorable fireplace so our room would get warm.... More

This place is amazing. We stayed 3 nights at $43 a night for two. For what it is it's worth the money. The 'rooms' are mini split-level apartments with a kitchen so you can cook and save money if needed. The views over the harbor are stunning and the light is constantly changing. Quite expensive for Bolivia but we stayed... More

Las Olas is a fantastic place to stay. We had room 4, the tortuga, which had split levels, a round bed and a fireplace. The views over the lake were perfect. At 50usds a night it was expensive for Bolivia but worth every penny. We also had a private garden with hammocks and deck chairs. Highy recommended

I don't think i have ever stayed anywhere like this place the views are amazing and the architecture is totally unique. After travelling with my husband and staying in cheap hostels this we such a treat. We went in suite 6 I think and it was really romantic! The jacuzzi was a real bonus too but make sure you book... we stayed at Las Olas for our three night four day stay at Copacabana and we loved it. spectacular views, huge windows, intelligent whimsical architecture, great sitting and relaxing areas throughout. Even a hammock and a place to light a fire inside and a kitchenette. it felt like home, but in some far away fantasy land....

Some friends recommended Las Olas to us, but my first impression and the actual 2-night stay were disappointing. I emailed them two days before our arrival and they responded that they had a room but would only hold it until 2 pm. Unfortunately our bus didn't arrive until 6 pm. They couldn't take a credit card to guarantee the room,... More

Beautifully-appointed rooms with fireplaces, hammocks and cosy beds make up this B&B perched on the hills of Copacabana. There are no meals served here and residents are advised to walk over to the nearby Las Culpina for breakfast and to book tours. It's quite a steal for its price and quality, and comes highly-recommended by Lonely Planet. However, what Lonely... More

A quirky hostal/apartment place that you access through La Cupula (both owned by Martin, a German expat who obviously has an eye for detail and comfort). We only managed one night as it was full but can also recommend La Cupula where we stayed several nights. To get there from bus drop off head uphill towards the hill with the... More

We (couple) stayed at Las Olas soon after New Year, when most of Copa seemed reasonably quiet. Best views in town, over the lake and city, and never ran out of hot water. Only a 5-min walk to the plaza. Room 6 was lovely, won't spoil any surprises. The linen was a little dirty, disappointing given the higher cost than... More

This hotel was by far one of the best on my two month trip to South America. The views over Lake Titicaca were just beautiful. I had bungalow number 6 which was great - a huge bigger than double bed inside the room, a hammock inside and outside the room, kitchen, two showers in the bathroom... the only downside was... More
