This hostel was the worst I have stayed in during 2 months of travel in South America. The beds are really crappy, I couldn't even find the shower because it was just this thing hanging in the toilet. Staff isn't very helpful either.

I paid 40 B for a small single room. I had to share a bathroom, I normally wouldn't mind this, however, it was disgusting. It smelled really badly, dirty, and there was no toilet paper. I asked for the bathroom to be cleaned, it took 3 hours and another request only for the floor to get a little wipe. I...

This place is seriously dirty. The management and staff are rude and obnoxious and won't help with anything (even to tell me the wifi password!),there are lots of hostels and hotels in Copacabana and I would definitely recommend you look elsewhere.
Unfortunately you have to question why these people are running a hostal as they don't seem bothered at all about the care of their customers or the quality of service they provide. The double rooms are cheap at $12 a night and are ok. We've stayed in worse. But the showers have no curtains, rooms are freezing cold and I...

The good thing about this hostal is its location. Only a few steps from where the bus drops you off and on the road towards the water. The hostal itself is average. We had a private double (3 beds though) with bathroom. Paid total of $10 which is not a lot.
As mentioned before, the shower is kinda of shady....

So we had a double bed room with private bathroom.
The hot water comes from an electrical heater and seemed not quite safe. So we wore sandals in the shower. The toilet and the basin looked a little old...
