This is a very nice property. Right on campus walkable to all the campus bars, restaurants and stores. Staff was EXCELLENT. We had to evacuate the building for a short while (a fire alarm wire got nicked) and staff brought hotel shuttle vans for us while we waited for the all clear (it was February and a bit chilly). The... More

Its all about location. This hotel has a perfect one, right off State Street. Ann Arbor does not have many hotels within walking distance of the campus. This hotel is nice enough but the rooms, lobby, etc. are out of date and the rates are outrageous. More

The Campus Inn really has the best location for getting around town but the price is not worth the bad service and dusty décor. We celebrated New Years Eve at a restaurant in Ann Arbor and select the Campus Inn so we would not need to drive. Considering the price and the location—we expected more. This hotel has ZERO service.... More

I would like to apologize for the poor reception and lack of service you experienced. Our standard calls for all guests to be greeted and offered assistance with luggage. On this occasion the bellman failed to meet that standard and we will follow up with him accordingly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Michael Harman General Manager More

My stay at the Campus Inn in Ann Arbor was excellent. The hotel has a boutique hotel feel, and is excellent both in terms of amenities and comfort. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. They also have an excellent breakfast. The only slightly unpleasant incident happened when I was checking out, and the frontdesk staff called a taxi which never... More

My apologies that the front desk and bell staff did not monitor the non-arrival of the taxi. We accept that it is our responsibility to select the best partners to provide the best service to our guests. We will follow up with the taxi company to emphasize the need for good communication with our desk and bell staff. I am... More

Very friendly and helpful staff- really enhanced our stay. Everything was clean and fresh. Beds were comfortable. The exercise room had a nice selection of cardio equipment and some resistance equipment. Clean towels, refrigerated water and clean headsets for watching TV while you exercise. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and had a good meal. The bathroom in our... More

This hotel is convenient to the campus. That is its plus. However, we have stayed there twice in the last two years and both rooms we were given had old mattresses that had sink holes in them. This last time was so bad that we had to sleep half way down the mattress to get any level mattress area. We... More

I am very pleased to advise you and all other potential guests that we are in the process of replacing all of the mattresses in the hotel with "Top of the line" premium units. We have already replaced 3 floors and will have completed the entire hotel by the end of 2011. I hope to have an opportunity to welcome... More

This is only sizeable hotel in Ann Arbor proper, so if you want to be near campus or downtown, this is it. The hotel is located a block from UM Central Campus and both State Street (campus) and Main Street (restaurants) are nearby. The hotel is an older property, but is well-maintained. The rooms are decent size, but the bathrooms... More

I can’t say enough good things about The Campus Inn. I highly recommend The Campus Inn for any overnight stay and event you are planning! The hotel & event staff is a major reason why our October 7 wedding reception in the Huron Ballroom went so perfectly. From the planning stages through to execution I was made to feel like... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience at the Campus Inn. I am very pleased that Nabil was able to "Save the day" and find you an alternate DJ so the dancing could continue. Denise does a fabulous job and enjoys working closely with all our clients, she is very professional. We look forward to welcoming you... More

My stay at the hotel was fine. Some staff were incredibly helpful. The only problem was dinner my first night. I had filet mignon at the restaurant and it was really not good. I mean it was bad. When the steak arrived it was barely warm - almost cold. It seemed as if it had been cooked hours before, warmed... More

Thank you for your comments about the helpful staff and the quality of the overall stay. It was very helpful that you responded to our request for more information regarding your dinner; this enabled us to refund the cost of the meal to you. I stayed here for two nights whilst attending a local conference. I liked the modern room, but I did find the bathroom a bit small, and the bathtub isn't ideal for the larger person, so stick with the shower if need be. Staff were excellent. I had room service dinner the two nights, one night was a bit slow, the... More
