I recommend any hotel in the Jumeirah beach area but not the Villa Rotana.

The stay was good and so was the location near to Dubai mall. The hotel was clean and the staff were very welcoming.
I would request the management to include internet and don't charge extra for it. This will get them more customer, the last thing some one want to do is to pay for internet.
