For a five star hotel the rooms were really dated - we paid for a club room, but it was the same as the regular rooms (apparently though they are just about to refurbish the hotel). We stayed here in November last year. The hotel is good but there is a lot of work going on around the area. The pavements are just dust and it's not easy to cross the road because of roadworks. The hotel is okay, but be aware that it's not part of the Starwood Preferred Guest program, so don't expect to earn any points while staying here... Interior is also a bit outdated. More

Close to everywhere, barasti bar just a walking distance away, and yes you will be spending a few evening there. Awesome facilities for kids and adults, plenty to do. Rooms a bil old but they are renovating so would be perfect when it's all done. Thank you for looking after us. More

Stayed for 3 days and found the hotel to be an excellent base for Dubai. This is one of the oldest hotels and is due to close for refurbishment this year but we were very happy with our stay.
