The Sala Prabang hotel consists of several buildings ,we where located in a building across from a temple ,generaly nice and quiet.The rooms where nice and clean ( no TV and No desk ) The hotel is very well located for easy acsess to the main street and the restaurants.Breakfast was very good however located in the main building.

Spent 3 nights here and loved staying here. Was very close to most of the major attractions, a short walk to the rivers, night markets, restaurants and Wats. The rooms were far enough away from the main road, so there was no traffic noise (not that there is much traffic in Luang Prabang). Breakfast was adequate, but plenty of it.... More

My husband and I stayed here for three nights. We absolutely loved its charm and the service was great. It has a great location right on the Mekong river and makes for a pleasant stroll to restaurants, shops, and night markets. Will definitely return!

We weren't in the main bit which looked nice but in the annexe about fifty yards down the road. So we had to walk up the road to breakfast which is on the river side of the road outside. Very quaint hotel in a pretty spot! Close walking distance to the main street, markets etc! Helpful & friendly staff! Loved the breakfast spot next to the river! Quite a basic breakfast offered, however the location makes up for that! Would stay here again!

Our travel agency had booked this hotel. When we got there we were told they had no more rooms available and send us to Xang Keo Guest House. Luang Prabang is a walking city and this hotel is well placed...a short walk to the palace museum, night market, wet market and Main Street. Very helpful staff here, and I would reccomend this place as the best bargain for your money. they helped me book boating fun trips on the mekong. i bartered for the price a bit and it worked! the place is soooo quiet from your bed, I was able to sleep until 1:00 in the afternoon, that felt so nice after...
