The hotel is small and cozy with a very nice atmosphere; the staff were nice and very helpful. Location is perfect right in the center near the opera square and a walking distance from the main sites. I stayed at the Hotel Wien for 12 days. Given the hotel alternatives in L'viv -- either cheaper and shoddy, or better but far more expensive -- it was a decent choice. The hotel is really good for its price - consider that it is in the very heart of Lviv and costs 50% less than the nearby hotels. Excellent hotel; great location - very center of the city. Very clean and charming room for 3, well equipped, with great view. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff (Nadezhda was just great!). No elevator, but bell stuff willingly helped with luggage. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of nice restaurants around and an excellent one in the hotel. More

The hotel is in a great location, in the center of the city. The rooms are reasonably clean and quite comfortable, although furniture and equipment is rather cheap. Rooms are closed with old-fashioned, big keys you are supposed to leave at the reception. But, in a city where most inhabitants have running water only for a few hours every day... More
