Where to start! Location,in-design,comfort,receptionist and all other employees were so frinedly and sooo helpful! Once more I want to thanks them:) I really felt so good all 5-days there,i"ve been to many places but never felt so "home" like.

Went to Split in beginning of February for three days and stayed in Slavija. Hotel is located inside the Emperor's palace, so I had the opportunity to visit all the historic monuments within 5 min walk on my afternoon off. Clean and cozy rooms, slept like a baby. The hotel was in an old ruin, but with complete modern and spotless facilities inside. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was free. The location was unbeatable, inside Diocletian's Palace in the heart of all the action, but at the same time we were never disturbed by any noise outside during the night.

Stayed here for 3 nights at the start of a tour around the region. Fantastic hotel hidden away from the main thoroughfare, yet close enough to experience Split's fantastic atmosphere. Close to fantastic bar/restaurants, and located within the walls of the palace-a unique position and fantastic for exploring the town. Friendly staff and good breakfast

Staying within the walls of Diocletians Palace in the historic "Hotel Slavija" was our idea the perfect location to stay in the old town. Knowing that the hotel is built on top of the Emperors baths and seeing the decor has retained and highlights parts of the old Palace walls is awesome. Excelently located small, stylish hotel in the heart of old town. Couldnt be better located. Rooms are clean, spacious and decorated with good style. Some upper floor rooms have even own balcony so ask for them. I stayed at 3rd floor and they gave me two rooms with a big balcony - nice luxury for just one person :) Downstairs... More

I needed a hotel for a stopover in Split before flying home following a holiday in Hvar.
