Perfect combination of small, boutique property but now that it's owned by the adjacent Porta Hotel, with the shared room service menus, etc of a larger property. Stayed here in late March 2013 for four nites and found it be a perfect base for day trips. Fabulous rooftop area for early and late sunshine. Rooms were small but tastefully designed... More

We loved this hotel. It's close to the central square but far enough to be on que quiet side. The room we had 603 was very nice and comfortable, even though it is near the street and one hears the buses in the early morning. The only issue was the internet not reaching the room and we had to go... More

I stayed in one of the ground floor rooms right off the lobby. Definitely not handicapped accessible as you have to hop on some stepping stones over a pond to get to the room. Breakfast on the rooftop is quite nice and the food is basic and good. Staff was friendly. I had laundry done and it was fast and... More

The Hotel made the perfect launching off point for our explorations in Antigua (a city we came to love for its charm). The woman and gentlemen at the desk always helped with any of our inquiries and set up a few tours for us. We saw the Coffee tour (great), hiked the Volcano about an hour away (ok....you don't get... Fabulous hotel in a very good area but the main traffic seems to pass by which makes it quite noisy. Breakfast delicious great beds and good wifi. Staff welcoming and terrific. Shame about the noise maybe ear plugs would make it perfect

Situated just a couple blocks from the main square in an older small Spanish hacienda style building. There are more restaurants by the suare than by the inn. Nice small courtyard with very small pool.. There is a small sitting room with a fireplace, but only room comfortably for 4 to 6 people. We had a room up on the... More

The other reviews do a great job of covering all the ground, so I will just note a few things. Yes, the room was very small, as noted by others. We stayed in #7, the cute room in the back, reachable by the stepping stones over the pond. At night, with the candles and the soft lighting, it was very... More

We stayed three nights at this delightful property. We were met at Guatemala airport as pre-arranged and driven to Antigua. Melvyn on reception met us and immediately made us feel welcome. Room four was spacious, very clean and the bed was high and comfortable with three different pillows per person. I slept so well. Melvyn continued to be helpful with... More

I stayed for 2 nights on Jan,13. Our room was in the ground floor. There was only one bed as requested. The walls are very close to the bed. You have to think carefully about where to locate the suitcases to move around. There was a very dissapointing and strong humidity smell. The bathroom is also very very small. The... More

We had the "petite" room for $80, and it was quietly tucked away behind the office. The bed was fluffy and comfy, super clean, well lit and romantic. There's not much walking space in the room though. Authentic Guatemalan decor on the walls. After visiting Lake Atitlan for a week, we returned and had a bigger room #7 but it... More
