An excellent hotel. Great value and warm staff. As with any public building in Panama, no smoking. Restaurant small with limited menu but portions are of good size and priced well. Pool is on the top level of hotel and very clean. For the business traveler, room has a desk and good wireless connection.

We had reservation at the Waldorf Astoria on Uruguary Street but the opening of the hotel was delayed. We were able to get in at the Doubletree a week before our arrival. Well located. Walked to all restuarants of which there were many to choose from. Very clean hotel. Wish there were more English speaking staff. Wish there were drink or food services at the pool. Well priced.

The service was not very good. Especially by the staff at the reception who were incredibly rude! Besides that the rooms where up to the chain's standards. The business center however was a disgrace because of its tiny size and lack of staff to handle it.
