Very budget. $20/night/fan/two beds for two adults and a five year old. In the heat of Managua, my son really appreciated the pool, which closes at 5 but we were there at 9pm and nobody said anything. The rooms are smallish but with TV and a fan and a courtyard, it is doable. The beds are on the old side,... More

This place was recommended by a friend and it looked like a nice enough place to stay. Sadly, I did not get the chance because the hotel lost my reservation. I called the night before arriving to reserve a room and was told that they had a single fan room available and reserved it. I also sent an email where... More

Where to begin? Burnt breakfasts, two chairs for the entire 20 room complex, petite swimming pool that closes at 5 p.m., no smoking in any room, staff unhappy to tear themselves away from their laptops to answer questions. Two good things: This place responds quickly to email requests for reservations (which is how I ended up here to begin with)... More

I reserved a night at this hotel to ensure having a place to sleep for a night of transition in Managua. The situation was handy as it's only 10 blocks away from the King Quality bus stop. The place is OK and clean. Everything works (the fan, the shower). But it's true that it would not be of any luxury... More

We used this place as a staging post for the 5:00am Tika bus to San Pedro Sula. We arrived at lunch time hoping to read books and get an early night. Although there is a small pool there is not a single comfortable place to sit anywhere on the premises, just a few high chairs near the pool. The room... More

Perfect if you are coming in or out of Managua on the Tica bus as it is a 1 minute walk away. When arriving try to ignore the men outside the bus station that direct you to El felipe instead or try to put you off. The rooms are small and basic but perfect for an overnight stop and for... More

We wanted a place that was somewhat comfortable, yet affordable for our first night and last night in Nicaragua. This place fit the bill. Our flight arrived late evening, so we arrived by taxi. Email correspondence was good and they had a room awaiting us on arrival. Great place to get water and cold beer right across the street, and... More

THis hotel was such a great way to end our trip from in Nicaragua. The rooms are inexpensive, we were a family of five people and the bunkbeds were only $8 each. My girls, 9 and 6 years, were captivated by the six parrots owned by the hotel and the winding paths through the jungly garden. A large pool, very... More

My female friend and I spent our first night here in Managua. We felt completely safe because of the enclosed gate surrounding the hotel. The rather spartan room with 1 double bed and 1 single + fan and private bath was $20 (AC room is a bit more). There was an outdoor pool with a large deck and a good... More

Somehow guide books are positive about this place. The garden is nice, but the rooms are basic, and matrass too soft i could not sleep. Location is good.
