Friendly hostel with very helpful staff, especially Lena who was often on hand with tips covering San Salvador and the whole country (and no doubt beyond if needed). The location is in a safe area with good transport links. Food avaiable at a reasonable price if you want it

It's in a nice neighborhood, close to transit and bars, but the cold shower dorm isn't stellar.
