This hostel is very good, it has clean room and nice bar. Met meny friendly locals in the bar and had band playing in the weekend. The room was nice and very clean, it was a bit noisy but not to much. Location is great, near the center and old town. Got free maps and guides and had free internet!

We stayed a Saturday and Sunday night in a private en-suite room. Saturday night was very noisy from the street (pedestrian-only street) and from people coming and going throughout the night. Like many hostels, Taban is full of budget and young travelers. This would be okay if the walls weren't so thin. Unbeatable location, super friendly and helpful staff. Great coffee :) Free Wifi and towels I would recommend buying ear plugs as it can get noisy with people coming in late (even though there is an excellent sound proof door from the bar to the rooms). Will most definitely be staying here on my next visit to Zagreb.

Brand new hostel, comfortable rooms, clean bathroom and nicely decorated bar. Great service, very friendly staff. Got some great advice on what to see and where to eat, located 5 min from the city center and the old town. Zagreb is beautiful and would definitely like to come again...

We loved the location, 3 min from everything we wanted to see (City Center, Old town, Cathedral). Location is perfect, staff is very kind and friendly, hostel is nicely decorated, double room was clean, the bed was big enough, got free towels, extra clean bathroom, wireless in the room! The bar is fantastic, left my mark on the wall ;) Definitely one of top 5 hostels I've ever stayed at!

So, didn't expect much, but Taban turned out to be one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Best things are location, staff and the price.
