Absolutely excellent hotel Stayed in a private bure which was beautiful, four poster queen bed, even a DVD player (you can borrow the latest movies from Reception), balcony overlooking the lake with water lilies.Super helpful staff and great food. Extremely clean, exactly what we were looking for. Highly Recommended.

Having to go back an forth to Suva every 3 to 4 weeks for business, I've stayed in 9 different hotels of all price classes so far. Five trips ago I have found the Raintree Lodge in the Colo-i-Suva Park. Since then I'm no more looking. I found my home away from home. Given that this lodge was originally built... More

This is a reasonable accommodation located in the outskirts of Suva. Coloi-Suva Forest Park is a stone's throw away from the hostel. The hostel has two beautiful ponds surrounded by a lush rainforest. You can enjoy the scenery from their restaurant balcony. There were not many guests, so they upgraded my room from dormitory to twin room, although I was... More

Overall I liked this place. It was clean and the staff and owner are very friendly. Unfortunately, money was stolen from my room, $300 USD. I would only write this if I was 100% sure. I emailed the owner who was more than helpful in investigating the matter. I have worked in hospitality for 12 years so I know how... More

We only stayed here a night as we stopped over in Suva on our way back to nadi from taveuni and it was really nice. The place was really quiet but it made it even better as the staff were there to help with anything u needed and they even cooked us some noodles for free in the kitchen. The... More

My husband and I stayed at the Raintree twice during our Fiji stay. We booked because it was near the small airport that we used to get to Levuka. I wanted to like the place and there were some positive attributes: Quiet and birdy, a central pond, a nice dining deck, and the staff that tried hard. But the rooms... More

Nice lodge about 11km out of Suva City. This is not really a Problem because the local bus which goes every 20 min. only costs 1 F$. The lodge is nice to relax after a warm or rainy day in Suva, after all the good shopping you can do there.only problem: many mosquitos because it is considert on a beautifull... More

Raintree was a great hotel/hostel, it had great location, rooms were clean, staff were friendly, rooms had balcony onto the the rivers and ponds located around the hotel. Bus stop out the front, bus came every 20-30mins and only cost $1.10FD or you could get a taxi for $12FD. The only downside to Raintree was been a backpacker and for... More

Raintree Lodge, Suva, is an excellent eco tourist accommodation choice for those who like peace and quiet, surrounded by rainforest, a large lake, and pond complete with water lillies. The staff and host are welcoming and helpful, food is great and facilities more than adequate. Transport to Suva is conveniently supplied by buses, two dollars or less from the bus... More
