Very neat and clean rooms. Staff are extremely helpful and very friendly... from the reception desk to the cleaning staff! The buffet breakfast was UNBELIEVABLE. They had an amazing range of finger foods, jams and pastries. I would highly recommend staying here.

The “50 or 60 year old elevator” is exactly what makes the London Palace so great. Whilst the hotel is a little dated it's clean and the service is good. The buffet breakfast is a bit crazy but only because the hotel is so busy. It was great for a one night stay in Montevideo. Reception staff were excellent.

The old elevator is surely an atraction to be visited at Montevideo. The Hotel is old 1920 years style, let´s say "vintage". We spent three nights here while in Montevideo. This was one of the few places available to stay since the BID conference was in town. On the plus side: It was clean, safe and quiet. We stayed at London for 2 nights. The hotel is clean even though a little dated. The best is the breakfast with variety of food. The location is not bad. Easy access to restaurants and public transportations. For the price, this hotel is pretty good.

Its a downtown hotel, very well located. 2 blocks from main street and with restaurants in the same block. You will be in walking distance from all downtown attractions.
