This is not the Ritz but all was very comfortable. Room was clean and bathroom was fine by South American standards. Location could not be beat, just a short walk from the Plaza Independencia. Plan your walk anywhere in Ciudad Vieja from your front door. Service was friendly and breakfast was super. I would definitely return to this hotel.

If you're travelling to Montevideo on a business trip and need internet, avoid this hotel unless you want to install your office in the lobby. There is not access in the rooms.
