The setting of the lodge is very relaxing and the staff helpful and friendly. Our beds were comfortable with lots of blankets to keep us warm. The breakfast was fantastic - just what we needed for a big day of hiking and exploring.

The Apu Lodge is a few blocks from the main square - you cannot drive there. We only stayed one night and had an early start to hike the Inca Trail - an ample breakfast was prepared for us overnight - we just had to switch the coffee on. Nice rooms with lots of hot water.

We stayed here with our 3 year old son. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast healthy and with good coffee, lovely grounds with hammocks and lots of flowers.
