The Gran Hotel Bolivar is a classic. It used to be the greatest hotel in south america and you guess why when you enter it. Everything is very beautiful, the rooms are spacious and with nice old-school furnitures. The staff is nice, the location is great (in the middle of the city center) and it is very affordable.

This must have been an incredible hotel in its heydey but still offers charming settings. If you want to stay in old Lima...this is it. very popular bar for the locals, very prompt service, menu choices good and the Pisco Sours are to die for. Went on Friday evening and the place was pumping. In downtown Lima lots of locals enjoying the nice evening conditions.
