We visited the lodge for the chance to see some birds in a tributary of the Amazon where many species that have been hunted to near extinction closer to the Amazon still thrive. We were not disappointed. During our 4-day stay, we saw more than 250 species, including the Wattled Curassow, a species that is highly endangered because of overhunting.... More

The trip down the Amazon was fantastic on a well appointed covered river boat with friendly and capable people. The accomadations were amazingly constructed of all indigenous substances, bungalows large, comfortable, with a outside deck to veiw the wildlife. Unbelieveable that they contained shower, toliet, and sink ,all eco friendly maintained. Food 3x a day replete with fresh meats, fish, vegetables, and desserts. Plenty of potable... More
