When I was in Peru, I was on a very strict diet and struggled to find a place to bake my bread. My last chance was here. I am very thankful for the good service the swiss manager gave me by loaning me the kitchen so that I could bake my bread. I payed a small amount for the gas,... More

En la fotos se ve mejor pero no tengo ninguna queja en especial. Just forget about a long shower because hot water only lasts for 4 minutes at maximum. Generally speaking it was good. Loved the homemade cookies and the staff is very nice.

The worst news was that our luggage was destroyed in a flood when a drain blocked and caused the entire place to flood with sewage. We had left our bags in the luggage room while we did the Inca Trail and came back to find it destroyed. I have two main complaints about this: 1) The flooding issue had happened... More

Dear Edward and Kathryn, I hope you are much better now. What happened on the 16th of February is the worst that could happen to a hostal. The water tubes of the city got blocked just next to our hostal and provoked a huge flooding. In 2 minutes we got 50cm of water into our place. Thanks to the solidarity... More

Pantástico is the best of Cusco! I haven't been anywhere else, but I would go back there if I go back to Cusco, and recommended the hotel to who I met in Bolivia on the way to Cusco (and I know he also was approved it). It is an unpretentious, made by simple people who treat you well and make... More

We spent 3 nights in this hotel and had the chance to benefit ot the room "Heaven", which is located just under the roof with a splendid view of the town of Cusco. The room and private bathroom were perfectly clean with warm water; you just have to ask for the hot water at the reception. At 5.00 am, a... More

I can't understand why this place has such great reviews. My only guess is that the reviewers are reviewing the NON-matrimonial rooms. We stayed here one night, and regretted it. The design of the hostel is very poorly laid out- the 4 matrimonial rooms on the bottom floor are wedged between a VERY busy street, and the front common area,... More

We decided to move to Pantastico from Samay Wasi after several loud nights in a mildew laden room there. We found Pantastico based on Tripadvisor recommendations and the breakfast and fair price sold us on it. The place is quite clean, but as we are finding with South American hostels the rooms are quite awkward, and the construction provides little... More

I stayed here for a total of two weeks. The first week I was in a double room with shared bathroom (Fire), the second week my fiancé joined me and we moved up to the double with ensuite (heaven) for S90/night. The views in both were amazing, overlooking the rooftops of Cusco. You can definiately get cheaper elsewhere but Pantastico... More

There is a bohemian decorative style as you walk in and carries on throughout the rooms. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a room that had a double and single bed for 65 SOL with shared bathroom if we stayed for a minimum of 2 nights. We were allocated the 'Mango' room upstairs, but after 2 nights, we... More

This is a great hostel, the best I've stayed at in San Blas. Nice rooms artistically painted, hot water all the time, wi-fi, really nice people, freshly baked bread every morning, FREE cookies!! It's a quiet place though, don't expect to party here. The bathrooms are a bit tight but very clean. And again, the staff is very nice and... More
