We stayed for one night before and one night after the inca trail, they didn't have breakfast, just coffee and Tea ,the rooms are ok,bathrooms are clean ,don't expect to much, the people are very nice, the only thing to complaint was the day we ask them to please set the alarm so we make sure to take our taxi to go to the... We stayed here for ten days while vacationing and working in Peru. It's located in San Blas, just half a block from the Plaza. We really liked the staff and they were wonderful with our 3 year old son. As he ran around wild all over the courtyard, they all helped us watch him and keep him safe. The rooms... More

I really wanted to do a review of Hostal Marani because it is not the type of place I would typically stay because I am a 5 star hotel traveler (and high maintenance). That said, I stayed here as part of a group and it was great. Plus, I would not have gotten to know some very sweet hard working... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and were disappointed. We had stayed at a different hostal in cusco prior and it was much better. The rooms are very cold and although we hired a heater for an extra 20 soles per night it didn't warm the room. Our room also had a skylight which meant you couldn't sleep in in... More

I had a great experience with hostal marani. They picked me up from the airport on time, I was greeted by the friendliest people and served with coca tea (which was great), everything went smoothly, they had kept my luggage for me for a few days while I was off on the inka trail. I highly recommend them. From what... More

Clean, nice rooms. Good location, Not far from the Plaza de Armas. Helpfull people. Wifi is available. You can storage the luggage when you're going to Machu picchu. Breakfast is a bit simple. Bathroom is ok. Nice garden in the backyard of the hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. The room was booked by Chaska Tours (another great local tour company). The property is fantastic. The location is excellent. Our room had a skylight - which we liked. The hotel is very close to the central plaza. Also, it is surrounded by great cafes.

Marani's is a lovely hostel, much better than the others we stayed whilst in Peru. Service was great; when we arrived we were given a twin room when we'd originally asked for a double, but this wasn't a problem. They kindly gave us some tea whilst we waited 15-20mins for another room to be made up. The room was big,... More

We stayed at the Hostal Marani for a week in December 2012. From my initial email contact with Tineke, to a cup of coca tea upon our arrival, to our final "adios," it was a fantastic stay. Our spacious room was upstairs in the back and included a private sunporch outside the room with a grand view of the mountains,... More

I loved this place, even more since I switched from another hostel in San Blas that was almost twice the price with less to offer. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to help with local logistics/storage/etc, the rooms were SPOTLESS, the breakfast was plain but ample, the special touches were nice (such as a free book swap,...
