“Excellent rooms with helpful owners”

The hotel is located a bit far from the main square-maybe 15-20 mintues walking. This isn't a problem as Cuenca is a safe city. The rooms in the back behind the parking lot are so quiet you'll feel like you're in a countryside retreat! The owners, Gloria and Bolivar picked me up at the airport and treated me like family... I was in Cuenca doing some volunteer work in a clinic that was right up the street from this place. I really stumbled on this place by accident, and boy am I glad (this was my 3rd place in Cuenca). “Clean, new hostel with a good restaurant!”

We came across this place by accident because the place where we stayed previously had availability only for one night and this was recommended by them otherwise we didn't see it in travel books or sites. The rooms and bathrooms are brand new and the place also runs a kitchen with great juices and food. It is a real shame... More
