Please consider trying this small, quaint city hotel. It has a beautiful porch to sit at night, comfortable rooms, a cute pub, and a kind staff. It has the feel of an English country home in the middle of Quito, Ecuador. And GREAT breakfast of local foods!

What a lovely surprise when we walked in and saw all the art work, decorative touches and pleasant dining room! Our room had two comfortable beds and adequate room to move around. The hotel has sort of a victorian feel. Staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are really clean, but the bed cover has some stains on I presume they couldn't get out. No aircon in the rooms that could be a problem if it gets really cold. I would stay here again, very comfortable.

We arrived on New Years Eve and found that the location to Plaza Fochs was nice to bring in the new year. Word of advice, take the address with you to return to the hotel as taxi drivers rarely speak English and over 10 drivers did not know the Eugenia!!

We travelled to Ecuador to visit the Galápagos Islands and Napo Wildlife Centre in the Amazon Rain Forest. Stayed three times at the hotel between visits and before and after. Hotel was excellent.
