Decent hostel. The staff were pretty friendly and loved their beer pong. Dorms were roomy and beds were pretty good, except there were a lot of inconsiderate people. Having a pool was very handy for the hot days, so you could drink by the pool. Great food cooked by that Tim guy but he got real annoying towards the end.

Great place to meet other travellers, awesome pool & garden area but shared bathrooms were grim in the daytime and really bad first thing in the morning. Rooms are OK but really noisy, earplugs recommended.

The best thing about this hostel is the fantastic pool and common areas which really make it the place to stay in summer. The kitchen is massive. However there is a downside- some of the rooms can be noisy. I stayed in three different private rooms and only one was fantastically quiet. I would definitely return if my stay was... More

The exterior facade of the hostel looks great but the inside is rather old and run-down. The old-ish furnishings and decor I can live with - in fact some might even call it rustic but the floors are unbelievably creaky and the walls are so thin you can hear everything your neighbor is up to. I arrived on a late... More

I think I understand people's mixed feelings about this place. Depending at time of year you arrive, it might be quite loud and there may be a lot of partying going on. I was on vacation and enjoying everything Santiago had to offer, including this hostel. So, I didn't really care about the noise. I actually found it very quiet... More

So look, you might be staying in a BEAUTIFUL (and I mean STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL) old house, but if you can't actually sleep at night then the hostel has failed in what should be its single most important goal. That being said, this hostel works very well for a certain type of traveler--and that could be you, or not. So yeah,... More

This is a great hostel. Clean rooms, great value and close to transport. The kitchen is huge and clean. The staff were incredibly helpful. There is a pool and pool side bar with barbecue available. There is a lot of fun to be had here but also areas where it possible to just relax. One of the things I found... More

This hostel is in an absolutely beautiful building a walk from central Santiago. It is near a place with a few restaurants and cafes and the trains station but if a fair walk for the city. The staff didn't seem terribly friendly or helpful. They were often swamped, with people checking in and out at all hours and I didn't... More

This hostel was converted from an old mansion into a pretty large hostel. I stayed in an 8-person dorm (4 2-tiered bunk beds). There was plenty of space in each room, and the bedding and sheets were all pretty decent. The common areas are pretty large. The kitchen is huge, but I don't remember seeing many condiments. Internet is limited... More
