“the only option in Ancol for us”

My children loves many things about Ancol so we've stayed in this hotel many times. Frankly speaking, we always stayed in this hotel because for us it is the only option for a good hotel in the Ancol area. Just been there yesterday. Lobby looked quite nice just like my usual accorhotels experiences… going upstairs corridors look good, but wait until you enter the rooms… Shabby & old furniture with unclean feeling of the rooms… My 2 Ocean View rooms not so ocean view after all… from our (only) cemented balcony we could see straight in front of us... “Quiet and peacful location right on the beach...”

Be aware that you will need to pay entrance fee into the Ancol area to reach the hotel the first time. Once you've checked in you can get entrance coupons. Try to avoid non-renovated rooms - non-renovated room may have clogged bath tub. Location is definitely quiet during the night. Location is OK to visit the Kembayan exhibition.

From the minute you arrive at the foyer to this hotel you are treated like royalty. The complimentary ice cold drink offered whilst going through the check in procedure was well receieved after arriving to a very hot 40 degrees. “Nice location!”

The hotel location is very good. Just at the beach and in the area of Ancol. We can walk to the nearest cable car station or to the Atlantis thematic swimming pool across the street. Unfortunately the room carpet must be cleaned or changed for it already old.

“Distinctly average hotel”

Room had a little musky air to it, but it was generally clean and okay, comfort-wise. Was here for a company event and the meals served throughout were just okay. Overall, a very basic hotel, so don't expect too much.
