Yuyang is situated along Embassy row, close to top consulates. Unless you're a diplomat, I don't find the hotel central to any good shopping or dining spots. The rooms are spartan and blotchy. Very nice hotel recently renovated. Large rooms, nice view on the iced river. Very peaceful area, close to subway station. Free wireless in the lobby (upon request of password) and wired in the room.

The Yuyang is located close to a very local chinese food market (5 min walk) and some supermarkets etc., which are in the same direction. Breakfast buffet is very good. Vegetarian people only like the breakfast. Because you don't get the veg. food either at lunch or dinner. Rooms are very spacious. Get a lot of noise during late evening. Can stay for one or two night not more than that.
