This hotel tries to deceive you with their fully renovated lobby. Yes, their lobby could pass for a 4 star hotel. Once you step out of the elevator, you are immediately transported back the 1980's. I'll post photos of the things that you can find in the hotel room and you will see what I mean.

Average room, in need of refurbishment, breakfast average at max but location is truly good and price very reasonable. Would be prepared to pay more if my remarks would be dealt with. Bar almost under hotel is worth a visit with good dj's even on Monday night.

Old furniture, destroyed carpet, bathroom not really clean but a big lobby with gold, nice sofa - just what you need as traveler no further comments needed........ just one, the lady at the lobby was so kind and did not respect to change my room to a non smoking room

Scitech is an older hotel that could use a good facelift, but like a loyal old horse, the place still delivers reliable and consistent service. Efficient reception. Spacious, clean rooms. Competitively priced. Excellent location for shops, city centre and embassies. Only real quibble is that the breakfast is poor and over-priced, but there are plenty of cheap places to eat nearby.
