This hotel is in an alley that no cab driver can find because the address on these travel websites is incomplete -- like having a street name with no number. The hotel kindly came to pick me up on an electric bicycle when I called in frustration; luckily my luggage and I fit because I travel light. The alley is... More

We stayed in 2 different rooms as we arrived a day earlier than planned. Both rooms were the same except for the size and if you are staying more than a couple of nights (we stayed 5) you may prefer a bigger room as there is only the small and cozy courtyard to sit in out of your room. The rooms... What a special place! My wife and I stayed 6 nights with Jerry and Sam and their neighbors in the hutong. This is the best place to experience the real Beijing. Jerry is so organized and articulate and willing to make your stay the best. Rooms are small but spotlessly clean and so comfortable! The courtyard is useful for relaxing... More

We went with our 2 children to this hotel and can say that it was truly awesome. It is exactly what we wanted an authentic hotel in China in the old part of Beijing. Location is only 10 mins walk to the tube and in a very safe area. Lots of restaurants and a great base for sightseeing. I have... More

Hi sam and jerry, My partner and myself stayed at courtyard view for a total of six nights (separated by trips away from Beijing). I would like to say that our hosts were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Laundry was free, which my partner used twice. Breakfast was simple (yoghurt, toast, coffee) but did the trick. During our stay... More

The location of this hotel is really good, and the transport links nearby couldn't be easier to use! The bed and room was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and keen to assist with recommending the best sites to see on our short stay. I would recommend this hotel as somewhere comfortable to explore the city of... More

At first glance, this hotel might not look like much but step into your cozy and homey room and lay down on the bed and I guarantee you will be sold! Softest bed I have slept on in china! This place doesn't feel like a hotel at all, you feel like you are staying the night at a relatives house... More

When i first walked into this hotel, I wasn't too sure what to expect. It was very small, i felt like id come to a tiny replica of what id seen tripadvisor. But once I was shown to the room by the very helpful staff, I was very pleasantly surprised. Our room was bigger then any id stayed in, in... More

This is a small place, with only 6 rooms off a central courtyard. It is in a fantastic location, near the subway, hutongs, temples and more. The bed was the most comfortable I have had in China and the room was warm and cosy even when it was very cold outside. My room had good wifi, towels, hairdryer, chairs, kettle,... More
