City Wall Marriott is a convenient location to begin your adventure in Beijing. Near by attractions (within walking distance) is much history including the Forbidden City. If you are a shopper the pearl market and silk market are an easy cab ride away (4USD). Beijing rail station is nearly next door so people watching is amazing. Staff at the hotel... More

I went to Beijing in December 2011 and stayed at the Marriott City Wall. The hotel is in the city center, it is about a $16 ~ 100 CNY ride from the airport. I am a frequent traveler so I used my Marriott points to book the hotel. After paying on only 45,000 for 3 nights I was not 100%... More

Great location, efficient checkin. Room clean tidy and well appointed, was also very quiet with trhe added benefit of two sets of double glazed windows. Pool was closed when we were there which was unfortunate but the gym was really good with modern spin bikes. We asked about the baby sitting service that is mentioned in their compendium only to... I stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of a colleague. It was for the final few days on a three week visit to China. While the rooms are spacious and well appointed, they are a little odd. The lighting in the bathroom is not great for someone who wants to put on makeup and the placement of the sofa... More

We stayed at the Marriott Beijing City Wall in January, 2012. First let me say, I've stayed in numerous Marriott properties over the years. Resorts down to Fairfield Inn. This property gets an A+ rating from me. Spacious rooms, clean, friendly staff, beautiful hotel all around. The beds are comfy, the bathrooms large. The shower, lets just say, I want... More

Excellent for a Cat 3 Marriott. Conveniently located in the inner ring. Walking distance to Tiananmen square, forbidden city and subway station. Large suite and a nice view to the ancient city wall. The executive lounge is attended by friendly staffs to spoil you as soon as you walk in. Unfortunately, the young chef needs to learn how to appropriately... More

This hotel caters to tour groups so it is always bustling with people coming and going. The lobby and restaurants were crowded especially in the mornings, but overall service was very good. We ended up having breakfast each day in one of the smaller restaurants that is set up for a buffet each morning. I recommend a higher level room... More

We stayed for 4 nights with our family of 4. I was thrilled to find they had put us in a large room with 2 king size beds for no additional cost. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Though we could hear the street traffic a bit at night, the hotel was... More

Great hotel. The water pressure in the shower is a power to be reckoned with. The (deluxe) room is large, bathroom is large. The restaurants are a little pricey there, but food seemed of high quality. Very accommodating overall. Would stay there again. Beware of the tour company desk in the lobby. See the review under grayline Beijing. Nothing too... More

We stayed three days in this big hotel before an Asian cruise. A portion of The Old Beijing City Wall is right outside the front door. The bed was very comfortable. A bottle of water/person was provided in the bathroom each day for drinking and brushing of teeth, as tap water was not potable. On the second day I finally... More
