I decided to try a different place in the Lonely Planet.. and after walking all the way from the train station to here with my backpack in 40 degrees.. I still decided to walk straight back out. It needs to be demolished. It's run down, filthy, smelly and from another time and place. Avoid at all costs.

One of the most unpleasant of our stays in Egypt.
Though the hotel is centrally located in Aswan, yet it is best avoided. The first 5 floors are carpeted wall to wall and the carpets stink!
