Very basic. Showers flooded - but did have hot water. Breakfast requested not required on day of trip to Abu Simbel but we had to pay for it anyway! Rooms mostly clean but dark. Must be better places to stay in Aswan. More

Pros: It was clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, there was a fridge and a tv with satellite channels, it's close to shops, restaurants, a doble room with breakfast included was 120EP (16 euros) and we leaved our luggage in the reception while we went to Abu Simbel and when we came back there it was safe and sound. The Paradise is a budget hotel, very close to the station at the beginning of the pedestrianised souk. This would create problems if you are disabled as taxis are not able to reach the entrance to the hotel, but a good driver should help you.
