luxurious hotel, top hospitality. The garden cafe and restaurant are very nice place for dining and morning coffee. The rooms have good view of the Nile or the hotel gardens. As for conferencing, the hotel is spacious enough for several meeting rooms

The Royal Palace Al Gezira was built in 1869 as a guest palace for the Suez Canal inauguration and was home to Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III. Hotel is a very large, comfortable hotel. Customer service was very good and the chambermaids were prompt and very good when you leave them a tip. My room included breakfast and internet. Internet was skype-able and worked pretty consistently. Breakfast has an omelette and waffle bar. Everything in the hotel (meals, trinkets/souvenirs/snakcs) are very expensive compared to the same items... More
