We have just spent 6 nights in Tbilisi with my family and we really enjoyed the hotel. The location is ideal on Rustaveli Avenue (an elegant avenue like you could find in a European capital city). The Marriott Tbilisi is a historical, classy, elegant building which was built during WWI. There is a nice, slightly old fashioned (in a nice... More

Great hotel, very well located in the heart of the city. Within a few minutes walking from the main area for bars and restaurants. 5 minutes walking to the Dry Bridge market and with a supermarket nearby. Prices inside the hotel are very reasonable and the quality of the food is really good. Good meetings rooms, very classic. Would recommend... More

Flights to Tblisi from the UK are horrendous. They leave about 7pm, the flight is only about four and half hours but the time zone is +4. This means that with the hour delayed on the tarmac I touched down at around 5am local time. I'd called ahead to the hotel and arranged a pick up. He wizzed me straight... More

Within the historic walls of this fantastic buillding it is easy to forget time or - if you wish so - dream yourself into the bygone era. They were able to keep its charme after modernization. It is really the substance of the hotel that has the lead role in the play, but the supporting acts (service, food,...) are equally... More

This hotel is old and needs renovation. The floor in some rooms is not fully flat and rooms with internal view of the building are a litlle depressive. If you can chose a room, I suggest number 310, 526 or equivalent. Furniture, wallpaper and couch are old looking. The bathroom however is modern and well equipped. The gym, open 24... More

The Tbilisi Marriott is a grand old lady, updated in her comfortable rooms, technology access, and service, but reminiscent of European refinement. The staff is highly trained in customer service, and the central location speaks for itself. I just a few minutes of walking time, you will find yourself in the enter of Old Town or Rose Square. Accommodations are... More

This is my second stay at Marriott's Tbilisi Hotel. Built in 1915 in European Baroque style, the hotel on Rustaveli (Old Road) Avenue has hosted kings, queens, heads of state and Hillary Clinton. Refurbished completely in 2002 after the Rose Revolution, it is set between Rose Revolution Square and Freedom Square (formerly Lenin Square). The Georgians have forsaken Communism and... More

Even if the design is a bit oldish, the rooms are huge, and it's pretty comfortable to stay in this hotel. The location at the beginning of Rustaveli avenue is very convenient, you can walk to almost any location downtown from there. The restaurant is excellent, with a choice of International and Georgian food that will suit most palates. Check... More

I love staying at this hotel. The staff from the bellman, front desk to the restaurant servers are excellent. It has the dependable Marriott customer service that you would expect and beyond. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner at parnas. The food was tasty and service wonderful. Tbilisi Marriott is the place to stay when visiting Tbilisi.

This is the place to come for that old-fashioned luxury hotel experience. The building is historic, the lobby grand, the bar and seating area plush with very high ceilings, grand piano, and there's a lovely courtyard to take breakfast in when the weather's fine. The rooms match the grand decor but with essential modern touches. There's also a smallish but... More
