The hotel, and room were fine. Only annoying thing was no wifi (also not in the lobby) There were also terminals in the lobby which were not free. In 2013, in a city and country where free wifi is all over the place, this seems pretty cheap of them, since it is available if you pay. Other than that, also... More

The only good thing about this old, dirty hotel is the location. It is in the heart of the city, close to shops, the Mehane Yehuda market, and on many good bus lines. I'm not sure what delerious state others were in when they stayed there, but this place needs a good cleaning from top to bottom. The desk staff... More

We stayed here as part of a tour. The location could not have been better, near the markets and Ben Yehuda shopping area! It is dated and could have been cleaner, but the rooms were big and the service was good. I knew It was a 3 star hotel and it did meet those expectations...I would stay there again anytime!

Situated in the very center Jerusalem - just as hinted by its name - near by all the city's attractions - lies the humble, yet excellent hotel Lev Yerushalaim ("The heart of Jerusalem"). Large, comfortable and nicely equipped rooms, professional and individual services, homely tasted food - what else one can expect from a hotel? We found this hotel by... More

I just spent 10 days at Lev Yerushalayim. You cannot beat the location. It is right on top of Ben Yehuda Street (walk through strip of restaurants shops, clubs, and bars). It is around the corner from the light rail and it is walking distance to the old city and the wailing wall. Each morning I'd go down and eat... More

Lev Yerusalyim is at top of Ben Yehuda mall in the best position for all attractons in Jerusalem. This apartment style hotel is cheap and good value. Public transport from here is easy and there are heaps of good resturants around.

We wanted a hotel that had a good location and also offered a kitchenette so we didn't have to eat out for every meal during our week in Jerusalem. Someone suggested this hotel. We were there in January for a week which was the stormiest in many years. Lots of rain and wind and eventually snow!. The reviews that we... More

We got a "good deal" from this hellhole, which makes me think, at what point does price not become important anymore? It was dirty, smelly. They gave us dirty sheets, a broken bed, broken shower, a shower curtain tbat was only half length so there was a pool in my bathroom. For a family of 5 they would give us... More

my husband and I vacationed in Israel and stayed at Lev Yerushalyim for 10 days. The service was excellent. Every day we had fresh towels, our beds made and floors washed. The apartment/hotel was small and a little dated but clean which was of utmost importance. The staff was very helpful with all questions and inquiries. We would definitely return... More

I came to stay in Jerusalem for one night. Picked this hotel as a budget pick... The place is indeed very outdated and not well maintained. The surrounding areas smell like urine and so does the staircase. The rooms are okay but old and shabby, beds and pillows are very worn. There is no parking and not much around for... More
