Do not let the term YMCA put you off for this hotel. First, location is superb. About a one block walk to the Old City, which is ground zero for your sightseeing in Jerusalem. Rooms are somwehat spartan, but very comfortable. Service is really very very good. Everyone is courteous and went the extra mile to meet any of our... More

I searched for days to find a medium range, smaller hotel for a two night stay in Jerusalem. I made my decision to book the YMCA because I trusted the 'brand' and usually have good experiences with the Y. This has completely changed my mind. The people who work at the front desk can't be bothered to help you and... More

The hotel is old , very worn out.Beds are not comfortable and bathrooms need immediate renovation- our washbasin was blocked etc. One small lift so we usualy took stairs. Besides- hotel has a very good location close to the Jaffa Gate in front of King David Hotel. The building is very interesting, the tower is a must - grat view... More

The three arches is a beautiful property and is perfectly situated in Jerusalem. It is a 5 minute walk to the old city and 10 minutes to Ben Yehuda street and the light rail. The breakfast is fine with a limited amount of items. Now for the but...the rooms are average size and outdated. The mattresses are in need of... More

dirty and dark rooms, breakfast that is not to be eaten, unfriendly staff - this YMCA had better days. We stayed here over pessach and while they charged supplement, they did not even clean the rooms once. No, rather stay somewhere else. One gets better hotels for the same amount of money in Jerusalem

The hotel is located at a very convenient location across the street from King David (where Obama stayed). Be sure to go up to the the top of the tower if you're there. If you're into bull market high tea, you can always walk across the street for a more pricey coffee and pastries. Nonetheless, the hotel is over 80... More

This hotel is like no other because of it's location, architecture and interior design and it's steeped in history. The rooms are on the small side and need a little refurbishing but very clean comfortable and have all the aminities for this class of hotel. We loved the big buffet breakfastt which had a big selection. And above all the... More

I have just returned from a 4 night trip to Jerusalem with my wife. We stayed at the Three Arches for the 4 nights and i am pleased to say that we had a great time. Building is beautiful, staff very helpful, food was good, swimming pool clean, rooms cleaned every day. Great location near Mamilla mall and Jaffa gate.... More

We were at the Jerusalem YMCA in the beginning of January. The building is located within a short walk to Jaffa Gate. Due to the weather (occasional showers all the time and 7-10 deg.C) we did not have much opportunity to explore the neighbourhood. The hotel itself is a unique building, all in sandstone, with picturesque towers, arches, collumns. The... More
