We stayed here by mistake. We had originally booked another hostel (Minel) that was closed down at the time of our visit and transferred us to this one. Despite not knowing what to expect, the hostel is a calm and comfortable place to stay. Very clean, nicely decorated, enough space in the room and even soap/shampoo was provided. The house... More

Great location being a very short uphill walk from the Gulhane tram stop. The airport is about an hour away by tram with metro transfer. The basement room was cozy, but the shower was not cordoned off from the rest of the bathroom, so water would easily escape and flood the toilet area, rendering the floor mat useless. The high... Wonderful stay at Anatolia Suites St Sophia. Sevim could not have been more helpful in every way - walked us to a nearby restaurant (Ziya) which was excellent, waited with us for taxis and even let us store luggage with them while we travelled around Turkey. Nothing too much trouble and genuine, friendly service above the norm. The room was... More

Even before we arrived we had several emails from Sevim helping us. Once we got there we were very impressed and pleased. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast fine, the staff goes out of their way to help with recommendations, reservations, they mailed our postcards and kept our luggage for a week while we went to Cappadocia. It's 5 minutes... More

Stayed here as a family of 5 with one infant of 3 years. We were given a family suite on the first floor which was a fit for all of us. It included 2 small rooms and a bathroom. The best thing about this place was the people. They were fantastic. Absolutely did not mind helping us with planning our... More

I stayed 4 nights in the Anatolia Suite St Sophia and I couldn't have chosen a better accommodation. Staff were really nice and welcoming, recommending how to get to places, less touristic haman and arranged transfer to the Airport. The property is not a hotel but more a residence with familiar atmosphere. It's actually and old Ottoman house. Suites are... More

So, let me start off by saying I loved the staff, and the old renovated building was awesome. We were booked to stay in a partial sea-view that was not ready, which was fine(no big deal), so our first night was in the basement, and we were then moved upstairs to the attic. The basement room was very nice, and the... More

Wanted to share our experience of staying at Anatolia suites. I went there in November over thanksgiving along with my sisters for a week long trip and stayed there. We would absolutely go back and stay there and have recommended the place to others. The location and how central it is to the blue mosque, hagia sophia, the tram, bosphorous... More

We stayed at the hotel in January 2012 with my friends. The location is very good! Only 3 min walk from Gulhane tram station, but there is no nois from tram at night. We booked dbl room, but we were checked in triple room with 2 bedrooms, very comfortable! (room 301). There is no lift at the hotel and stairs... More
