We stayed 9 nights in the Esans hotel in May. It was so close to everything, quiet at night, clean and the breakfast selections were many with always something a little special each morning. The gentlemen who watched the desk were very friendly and always willing to help. I would certainly stay again and recommend it to others.

Stayed at Esans Hotel for 3 nights in May 2013. Great location close & walk-able to all the main attractions in Sultanahmet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone I know that is planning on visiting Istanbul.

This hotel is very conveniently sited, being only a few minutes’ walk to the Topkapi Palace entrance, Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, etc. It is in a quiet side street with very little traffic. We stayed in this hotel for one night. The room was a good size and clean but there is no lift so suitcases had to be carried up a narrow staircase. The breakfast was simple and unexciting. It is in a very good location for seeing the sites, all within walking distance. Still it is overpriced for what it is... More

Very good location to visit historic Istanbul. 3 mins walk to Agia Sophia and Topkapi Palace and 5 mins to the Blue Mosque. Nice room with a lovely sea view. Great rooftop terrace. Nice place to stay close to key attractions. Easy to reach the Bosphorus tourist port for the beautiful trip.Close also to Tram stop (be sure to have coins to buy the tickets.
