About 10 mins by tuk-tuk from riverside and main attractions, Lucky Star was a reasonable budget choice for our group. Everything was ok, no problems, breakfast had plenty of choice. For USD15-20 not a bad choice at all.

There are several hotels lucky star hotels at the area. Make sure you check in at Lucky Star 2 which is the newest one. The USD20 rooms are good value. Hotel is clean, staff speak good English and did not try and push any trips, tickets onto us. Very helpful when we asked questions about the town. $2 Tuk Tuk ($1 Moto) to riverside (don't pay anymore). Location was okay, but on a busy function street with multiple weddings each night, was quite noisy.

I paid $15 (US) per night for a large air conditioned room. It was clean, comfortable and the hot water worked. The front desk staff speak adequate English and were very helpful. I was asked if I wanted "boom boom" by the staff several times and declined. I will stay at this hotel when I return to Phnom Penh.
