Nothing much to write about, clean and basic. Good location in district 1 where everything is based. Pool poor and dangerous (don't take kids there) steps into pool steep and no other entrance, only opens at 11am? Staff in front desk don't speak much English and when you ask them about something they don't know how to respond back well.

The room, service and especially the dining was excellent at the Kimdo. Only downside is that the bed was like a rock and the sheets felt like burlap. So, I wouldn't stay away... but the Kimdo is on the most comfortable hotel for the money in Saigon.

Roaches in the room, dated furnishings and an absolute poor excuse for a gym. Gym is NOT functional! Definitely not worth the money. Only plus points is the good location, but security personels are oblivious to the pimps harassing guest at night. Not suitable for families.

Kimdo is located in district 1 close to the river, shopping, major attractions, markets within walking distance, a department store almost next door, so from a location perspective it is well positioned. Stayed 2 nights in this hotel while on a tour of Vietnam. The location is fantastic, right in the center of the city, close to the city hall, the opera and a short walking distance to the market. Pros: The location of this hotel was fantastic for exploring HCMC. The room was large and the bed huge. The breakfasts were good with a large selection of western and Asian food.
