We stayed here on our last night in Hanoi and I wished I had booked this for all the accommodation in Hanoi. We stayed at 3 other hotels as we were using Hanoi as a base. The rooms are tastefully decorated with vietnamese decor-loved that throw on the bed and you need it with air con that blasts out very... More

great location in Hanoi, comfortable accommodation, tasty food, nice environment full of arts and craft works, attention to social issues, the highlight of my staying was Pete and his staff: friendly, helpful, full of tips and ready to give a hand to make one's stay most pleasant! I even had the nice surprise to meet Ms.Ha who, believe it or... More

• The rooms were immaculate, well-appointed and very comfortable • The staff was gracious, professional and very helpful • Everything worked well – the AC, the wifi, the hot water -- since none of these is a given in Vietnam, it’s worth mentioning :^) • The breakfasts were amazing – best in Vietnam!!! • The location is superb

We stayed here for our first few nights in Vietnam. We were met at the airport and taken to the hotel which was lovely after a long 24 hours of travelling. On our arrival, we were given a drink and had time to relax before going to the rooms. The rooms we spacious with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom... More

Arrived in Hanoi not knowing what to expect. Delighted to arrive at this lovely little boutique hotel in the heart of Hanoi. The service was perfect. We were welcomed with cold drinks and a smile. The owner, Pete Wilkes was phenomenal. (He arranged our overnight train trip to Sapa where we stayed at both of his hotels there, Sapa Rooms... More

The location of this boutique hotel is great. Just steps from the lake. The downstairs is nicely decorated and the breakfast was good. Our room was on the top (5th) floor. It was the only guest room on that floor and there is no elevator. I didn't mind walking up the stairs or carrying my heavy bag up the stairs.... More

So my better half picked this hotel for one night of our stay in Hanoi and I am glad it was only for one night. On arrival, we had to walk up two flights of stairs and then back down one (with our luggage) until we found someone to deal with our booking. When we got into our room, we... More

We had good 3 nights staying at the 6 on Sixteen. Our room was clean, had a tiny little window and no door to bathroom/ toilet, just to let you know. Also the interior and the walls were very dark. The hotel is very narrow, has no elevator and I suggest to leave the luggage for the hotel boy to... More

First the hotel, the common areas are very comfortable - relaxed and nicely furnished. But my room was not of the standard I had expected. There was no window, no wardrobe or storage for clothes, there was a huge bed and a huge chair which filled the space. Breakfast was nice but all that was included was one cup of... More

Great location right by the lake and plenty of restaurants. Rooms on the street side have large windows and balcony, but market scene starts at 5am sharp every day right outside the window and propaganda blares out every evening. (Looked at rooms in the back side, which are quieter but a dungeon---very dark with only 1 small window. ) Wifi... More
