The hotel has got a perfect location in the Old Quarter. It is surrounded by nice Bia Hoi-places, travel agencies and nice lively streets. We took the 15 dollar room. It is extremely clean. The beds were soft (which doesn't happen a lot in Vietnam). The service was friendly. If we go back, this is the hotel we book.

Its location is perfect covered the hidden charm of old quarter architecture. Check into our room as it was ready clean, spacious, all amenities,... More

We had 2 nights in this hotel. When we arrived here the manager started IMMEDIATELY pushing us to book trips and excursions with her travel agency. The position is very good, at 4 mins of walking distance from the Lake. Rooms are acceptable BUT in our one the bath was together with the shower, in the same little room, at... More

Stay at Aurora Hotel for location, great lovely service for he actual Hanoi experience. The staff are so friendly and efficient in tour arrangements at most reasonable prices. Will want to come back again when we visit Sapa later.

We booked the room via Agoda website, quite good and quick confirm. We spent 4 nights at this hotel for our trip in Hanoi. The front room comes with nice view of old quarter and very clean. Staffs all so kind and friendly. Hotel also provided free Internet and in our room has a computer, very comfortable I feel. The... More

Overall my trip to hanoi was memorable. We stayed at Hotel Aurora from 23 march 2013 to 26 march 2013. We had two room. The service, kindness, helpfulness of the staff from the owner Victoria to the front office to the kitchen staff were really wonderful. After travelling around Asia, this is the second hotel which I found to have... More

Firstly, we booked a hotel transfer with them through the online booking, which never arrived, so we had to make our own way in a taxi. On arrival, we felt the reception had a strange smell and felt bombarded by the staff. Once we were shown to our room on the highest level, after getting the lift and climbing 4... More

The hotel is in a good location, right in the old quarter, so plenty of restaurants and street food nearby. The staff were always friendly and helpful at all times of the day. The bedroom was an ok size with a computer in the room. The heating wasn't very good so there was a slight damp smell in the room.... More

Loved this hotel! The staff were amazing. They were always smiling and so cheerful. They were so friendly. They do offer you their tours, but they are not pushy at all and understand if you say no. It is obvious that they want you to have a nice stay at their hotel and are very willing to help make that... More

Having backpacked in Europe and a portion of Indochina, I can safely say that at 10USD a night, this place FAR exceeded expectations and surely is a luxury by any backpacking standards (albeit slightly more expensive than the hardcore backpackers who go for 3 or 4 USD a night). But how many places will also provide you with a heated... More
